ABOUT JKNAP

The Jammu Kashmir National Awami Party (JKNAP) is a progressive, left-leaning political organization founded in 1996, primarily active in Pakistani controlled Jammu Kashmir and among the Kashmiri diaspora across tha world. So called (AJK) is controlled by Pakistan since the Partition of Sub-Continent has its own government but limited autonomy, something that JKNAP strongly critiques and condemned.

JKNAP’s ideology is rooted in Kashmiri nationalism, secularism, and socialist principles. It advocates for the right of Independence for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, rejecting control by India Pakistan and China. The party emphasizes religious harmony, social justice, economic equality, and resistance to what it sees as external domination.

In its struggle for freedom, JKNAP focuses on peaceful political activism, including protests, student movements, and international awareness campaigns, particularly through diaspora communities in Europe, UK, Canada and America. Rather than armed conflict, it promotes a democratic and ideological movement aimed at achieving independence and full political rights for Kashmiris.
